Taylor's Open Day

Taylor's University Open Day was fun and amazing! with the Dee Jay blasting musics.. 

It brought up the whole atmosphere! 

Come with a Dream, Leave with a Plan.. That's what most people did! 

Some went back with useful information. while some, went back with a Taylor's Offer Letter! 

yeap~ Hope to see you in Taylor's.. 

Hmm.. there was this big huge Hot Air Balloon!! it was really amazing how big the fire was! just to heat up the balloon! That was the most amazing thing i think happened on the hot air balloon! the view was fairly nice..

Well, i got free Starbucks on Friday!  just had to donate for charity! and, everyone of us got a cup of black coffee for free! yeah~ 

In the Multipurpose Hall, everyone found what they wanted to know more about and were asking questions non stop! =) glad that they found it easy asking us questions! hmm..Engineering course had lots of visitors on all days! and, i'm super glad!! 

Well..if you ask me,

why did i choose Taylor's?

i'll say, i love the facilities provided in Taylor's! 

Lakeside campus has all these while been a campus i'm looking forward to studying in. cuz, it looks cool!

The Commercial Block, Sports and Recreation Centre, Student Life Center, Library etc just provides the right thing to what i want in a University Life! 

if you ask me,  why did i enrol in Mechanical Engineering in Taylor's School of Engineering (SOE).. 

i'll say, i simply picked it! 

what a funny thing to say! i love engineering so much, and yet, at first, it was just a lucky pick between 

-Bachelor of Engineering(Honours) Mechanical Engineering

-Bachelor of Engineering(Honours) Chemical Engineering

-Bachelor of Engineering(Honours) Electrical and Electronic Engineering!

Believe it or not?!

However, after that, i started to realise that my pick is the luckiest pick ever! LOL...

SOE offer Project Based Learning! it means, i can do projects that i love every semester!! well, i don't have to pay for my projects! that's the best part! as i can do things i love, for FREE! hehehe..xD yeah.. i love free stuff.. 

Well, lecturers are great! it makes me feel like i'm back to high school! where teachers give you full attention and attend to your every question! =) 80% of our lecturers posses PhDs in specialised areas of engineering! 

well, engineering labs are where i'll be all the time. other than classrooms! =) We did our car in the engineering workshop! fully equiped with all the machineries we need such as lathing machine, milling machine, welding machine, drilling and so on.. There are also labs for Electrical and Chemical Students! such as Energy and Fluid labs!

hmm.. Other than Engineering, theres actually other courses provided in Taylor's such as Architecture, Computer Science, Design, Quantity Surveying, Biosciences, Law, Business, Communication, Hospitality, Tourism&Culinary Arts, Medicine and Pharmacy! 

Today, well, it's a very very hot day i think... although the weather was actually quite good. however, i was feeling kinda moody.. for no reason at all.. but, my great Taylor's Racing Team teammates are just the best they can be!! i had chocolates and famous amos!! hehe..xD happiness!!  for the whole day! till now!!!!! yippeeee...

Many people stopped by to see our Taylor's Racing Team Car! well, i feel glad! really happy to see them taking pictures with our car! =) 

It was really fun and exciting! knowing many new people from outside of Taylor's. really hope that many enrolled. so, i'll have more friends in engineering!! =)
